Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using TrustMint, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using TrustMint on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these terms.

2. Description of Service

TrustMint is a review collection tool that helps businesses send review requests to their customers via email, host branded review landing pages, and track review analytics.

3. Account Terms

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must not use TrustMint for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• One person or business per account. Accounts cannot be shared.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Send review requests to people who are not your genuine customers.
• Use TrustMint to send spam or unsolicited bulk email.
• Upload fake customer data or generate fraudulent reviews.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse the platform.
• Violate any applicable laws, including GDPR and anti-spam regulations.

5. Payment and Billing

• Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe.
• All prices are in EUR and include VAT where applicable.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase (EU consumer right of withdrawal).
• We may change pricing with 30 days notice. Existing subscriptions remain at their current price until renewal.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of TrustMint is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the service, you acknowledge that you are the data controller for your customers' personal data and that TrustMint acts as a data processor on your behalf. You are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from your customers before adding them to TrustMint.

7. Intellectual Property

TrustMint and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by TrustMint and are protected by international copyright and trademark laws. You retain all rights to your business data and content uploaded to the platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by EU law, TrustMint shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Account settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the member state in which TrustMint is established. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, without prejudice to your rights under EU consumer protection law.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
